special projectsNot only is sewing a fun creative activity, it is a life skill. Sewing fosters confidence and self -esteem. It facilitates focus, patience, problem solving, and process thinking.  Sewing empowers self – efficacy and independence. Sewing also contributes to eye hand coordination and visualization.  Sewing utilizes STEM principals and is loaded with math! And most importantly is FUN! Once your students feel the joy of creating something out of various pieces and parts, they will come back for more… and more… and more…..

We will gladly come to your school for after school classes, summer camps or special events! All our instructors have complete background checks and are fingerprinted with the state of NJ And NY.  We are fully insured.

Our after school classes are typically one hour and are suitable for grades k-1 and 2 – 5.    Our creative handsewing class is project focused and each week the students sew a different project while learning a new stitch… students are taught how to thread and know their needles, sew on a button and successfully complete  running stiches, backstitches, whip stitches and simple embroidery stitches….
